This is the first image on my journey to capture the “Milky Way Over Colorado”. This photograph replicates how the Milky Way aligns naturally with this historical landmark in Colorado. The location of this image is where I got the idea to start this project, so I thought it would be fitting if it was the first location I went to start. This was only my second time at this location, but it was the most important to me because I got to start a project I’ve been wanting to start for a couple years now, and it was the first photography road trip my dog and I took together. This is a natural composite image, meaning these are two different photos (one for the sky and one for the landscape), and they are aligned as they would be in nature.
For every print ordered, 5% of the purchase price will go to Dark Sky Colorado to help protect our night sky, and another 5% will go towards the Colorado Wildlife Foundation to help protect the Colorado wilderness.

When purchasing fine art, you expect a quality print on quality materials, and to me, I feel metal and acrylic are the best ways to go. Both options will help give a new, unique look and feel to your wall. Only 100 of each size and material of these prints will ever be created.
All limited edition prints come with a certificate of authenticity listing printing information, photo information, and the edition number.
limited edition acrylic prints:
Acrylic prints are created by printing the image onto a metallic fine art paper that is then sandwiched between 5 layers of crystal clear adhesives and acrylic.
Comes ready to hang with a 1 3/8” poplar wood inset frame with a wire hanger (16”x24” and 20”x30” prints) or a wall buddy system (24”x36” prints) that adds an element of modernity and sophistication to your prints (prints will appear to float off the wall)

Open edition metal prints:
Photos printed on metal are created by infusing the photograph onto the surface of post-consumer recycled aluminum, making these prints environmentally friendly, and have been treated with a special coating. The transfer takes place under high temperatures and pressure to create a vibrant, crisp, durable piece of artwork.
Comes ready to hang with 1 3/8” wide poplar wood inset frame and hanging wire (prints will appear to float off the wall)

Complete with a white semi-gloss finish

These prints are printed on a high-quality fine art paper that produces a premium matte finish, and do not come with a frame. This gives you the freedom to display your new artwork however you see fit!
